Just a week after Alison’s birthday, along comes Christmas 2006. Here's the belle of the ball dressed up with my mother, the doting grandmother.
Three of those presents are for adult members of the family.
Someone has a new tricycle! And in her favorite colors, purple and white. Hopefully she won’t outgrow it by the summer.

Alison’s birthday is a week before Christmas which is kind of stinky since it doesn’t help spread out the gift giving and celebrations throughout the year. However, don’t fear that she gets cheated on the presents! No way that will ever happen…
This year for her third birthday the proud mothers took the party to this facility geared towards such things. With a jungle gym the size of half a football field, games, rides and separate rooms for pizza and cake. Quite the racket. All the kids had a swell time.
One of the rides was a merry-go-round. Ali loves these kind of rides. There will be more pictures similar to this!

Happiness is an opened present! Making some inroads towards opening the 6,731 presents she got for her birthday.
On Ali’s actual day of birth we went to Central Park to visit the zoo and such. Luckily the weather was warm, if overcast. This is a great picture of the “AAA’s” — who wouldn’t like this?
“Uncle, I want to ride piggyback!” Naturally, I oblige as always…
Like I said, Alison loves merry-go-rounds. Including the beloved grandaddy which adorns Central Park. A smile wider than the Pacific!
This was a really cool photograph. Alison has the longest eyelashes I have ever seen on a girl her age. It was tough to catch her while she was still and did not see me trying to take her picture. But the result is a full capture of her eyelashes in all their glory.
She’s pretty in pink! Posing for the camera with her starlet sunglasses on. Looks like all her baby teeth have come in!
For Halloween Alison dressed up as Minnie Mouse. The cutest rodent ever. And my mother was pleased that imagination was used for the costume rather than going the lazy route by simply buying a full costume at a store.
